The Graphic Design Coordinator is responsible for the following:

  • Maintain content for the website that may include copy, pictures, graphics, articles, blogs, and other written and visual communications
  • Update material on the site, such as posting new events/registration, home pages and landing pages on occasion to go along with current promotions, events, and seasons
  • Aid in the design, development, maintenance, collection, and coordination of new website content
  • Format raw content materials into website-ready content, including design and basic copy editing of text
  • Build cross browser compatible pages for the website
  • Prepare images for web publishing
  • Update and maintain site and correct errors
  • Work with Communications team to gather content for the website-images, texts, etc.
  • Help develop and send e-marketing campaigns
  • Expand company outreach and promote the website via mobile marketing, social media, and regular distribution of e-mail alerts (if and when applicable)
  • Help develop and design concepts for all Jonathan Club marketing materials, including direct mail, ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, posters, invitations, vouchers, coupons, t-shirt designs and all else as needed
  • Manage and maintain all graphic files, including logos, photos, art etc.
  • Participate in creative “brainstorming” sessions, marketing and advertising strategies
  • Work closely with all departments to generate information and approvals for materials
  • Assist with general tasks as assigned such as maintaining project task lists, updating and maintaining company social networking (if and when applicable) , photo editing and other tasks as assigned
  • Create and maintain a strong social media presence for our organization, maintaining a multi-platform social media schedule of content and posts designed to grow our social media reach and followership
  • Maintaining and updating web and app content, assisting in developing/designing graphics for print, digital and web-based products and online publication, creating and maintaining a strong social media presence.

Requirements

  • Thorough working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Established work portfolio illustrating broad-range of work and skills
  • Established and proven graphic design skills, from concept and development to finished product
  • Experience quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, strong multitasking and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Solid writing and proofreading skills
  • General marketing experience
  • Ability to generate new creative ideas and concepts and implement them into working promotions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Self-starter
  • Proven social media work experience
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Ability to deliver creative content (photography, text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Must be able to work full-time, weekday hours.
  • At least two years of job-related experience that can be a combination of professional, educational and freelance work. Preferred degree in graphic design. Alternate degree in web development, marketing or related area.
