Graphic Designer (Part-time, temporary)

Plan International works for girls’ rights. Harmful barriers like child marriage, human trafficking and gender-based violence are preventing girls and young women from achieving their full potential. This is a temporary, part-time opportunity.

Plan International USA seeks a part-time graphic designer for up to 25 hours per week for three months. The graphic designer will support Plan’s Creative Services team to with a variety of projects to visually bring Plan’s brand to life to a variety of audiences, including individual and institutional donors and young people. This involves developing compelling print collateral, website and email content, social media graphics, video editing and related materials to persuade audiences to either donate or continue engaging with Plan.

The graphic designer will work closely with a team of designers and writers to ensure a satisfactory experience for internal clients. They will collaborate to complete assignments effectively, efficiently, on-brand and in a highly deadline driven environment.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High-level of expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Intermediate expertise in Premier Pro and After Effects.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain highly organized files and use project management software.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience with a portfolio that includes non-collaborative samples.
  • Bachelor degree in graphics design, visual communications or related field preferred.
