Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as guardian of Biohabitats’ visual identity by ensuring visual unity and continuity in all forms of internal and external communication.
- Support our marketing and business development team by creating visual elements for storytelling and branding initiatives.
- Support our technical team by collaborating on the design of deliverables, such as reports, interpretive signage, and presentations.
- Create templates for social media graphics, advertising, collateral materials, presentations, publications, and proposals.
- Assist the marketing team with design-related aspects of the website, email campaigns, social media, video production, displays, and exhibits.
- Manage and provide art direction to freelance photographers and content creators.
Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of graphic design, branding, and communication experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meeting both budget and deadline requirements.
- Proficient in the full MS 365 Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience creating digital content, including infographics, for social media platforms and websites.
- Experience coordinating projects with printers and photographers.
- Enthusiasm for learning progressive, innovative trends and technologies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Helpful Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
- Proficiency in WordPress.
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualizations, diagrammatic representations, illustrative renderings, and handsketching.
- Proficient in the use of Rhino and other 3D rendering software platforms.
- Understanding of and interest in environmental and social justice.
- Video production and editing.
- Experience using Mailchimp and email marketing platforms.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or other related field
