Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Graphic Designer with strong web development experience to build upon and strengthen the company’s brand. As part of our Communications team, you will combine your graphic design, web development, and other creative production skills to elevate Form Energy’s brand identity both internally and externally. While this role will report into our VP of Communications, you will work in close collaboration with teams across the company – including our Policy, Commercial, People Operations, Recruiting, Engineering, and Analytics teams. You will be the first graphic designer to work in-house at Form Energy! This role can either be performed remotely in the US or hybrid from our Somerville, MA, Berkeley, CA, Eighty Four, PA, or Weirton, WV locations.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the steward of Form Energy’s brand – designing based on Form Energy’s brand standards – and continuing to evolve the brand to keep it fresh, creative, and engaging for our audiences
- Design internal and external communications collateral (web pages, social media graphics, slides, newsletters, handouts, etc.) and ensure each graphic element meets appropriate design specifications (color, resolution, web optimization, etc.)
- Bring creative collateral to life on Form Energy’s website and maintain the website on a regular basis
- Take photos at Form Energy’s facilities across the U.S., as needed
- Support editing videos, as needed
- Organize and manage all graphic assets
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years of professional graphic design and web development experience
- Deep working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (working knowledge of using collaborative tools like Figma and Canva is a plus)
- Strong experience in WordPress required, experience with Elementor or similar page builders is a major plus. Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS required. You will be the only web developer on our team.
- Knowledge of SEO and understanding of how to ensure that websites meet important page speed standards
- Experience in photography and in editing videos (with Adobe Premiere, and Aftereffects, and/or FinalCut pro) is a plus
- Ability to produce a first-rate work product under tight deadlines and while juggling multiple projects

The salary range for this role is $124,000-$176,000. The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
