Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the Crafts-Trades-Custodial-Transportation Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Starting wage $16.26-$17.24

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years job-related experience.
- Must possess a current and valid Colorado Driver’s License.
- Pass pre-employment screening physical.
- Some knowledge of mowing and landscaping equipment.
- Some knowledge of landscaping maintenance.
- Familiar with OSHA safety requirements.
- Effective communication.
- Some knowledge of District organization, policies and procedures.
- Able to lift, carry, and push up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students and the public.
- Ability to effectively read, write, speak and listen to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.
- Possess skills to be able to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively.
- Physical strength and coordination to operate the necessary equipment for the job.
- Integrity, trust and work ethic to be able to work with little supervision.
DUTIES:
- Mows and trims District grounds.
- Prunes trees and shrubs.
- Assists in snow removal at various sites.
- Maintains and repairs playground equipment at various sites.
- May provide general maintenance and assistance such as custodial duties, clean-up, sign repair, deliveries, special projects and other functions.
- Maintains athletic fields at various locations.
- Assists, collaborates and communicates with other personnel on maintenance projects.
- Keeps necessary records.
