Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the Operations Salary Schedule based on experience. Starting wage is $18.11-$19.19/hr.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• High School Diploma preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years job-related experience.
• Must possess a current and valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Pass pre-employment screening physical.
• Some knowledge of mowing and landscaping equipment.
• Some knowledge of landscaping maintenance.
• Familiar with OSHA safety requirements.
• Effective communication.
• Some knowledge of District organization, policies and procedures.
• Able to lift, carry, and push up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students and the public.
• Ability to read, write and speak in order to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.
• Physical strength and coordination to operate the necessary equipment for the job.
• Integrity, trust and work ethic to be able to work with little supervision.
• Possess skills to be able to utilize basic technology as directed by District to communicate and function effectively.
• Models Districts Mission and Beliefs.

DUTIES:
• Mows and trims District grounds.
• Prunes trees and shrubs.
• Assists in snow removal at various sites.
• Maintains and repairs playground equipment at various sites.
• May provide general maintenance and assistance such as custodial duties, clean-up, sign repair, deliveries, special projects and other functions.
• Maintains athletic fields at various locations.
• Assists, collaborates and communicates with other personnel on maintenance projects.
• Keeps necessary records.
• Other duties may be assigned as directed by the Grounds Coordinator.
