We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Data Management Quantitative Analysis to join our Corporate Trust Analytics team. This role is located in New York City, NY and is a HYBRID position.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage a large team of data management and/or quantitative analysis professionals who prepare data sets and conduct statistical, financial and econometric modeling for internal or external clients.
  • Manage the data management and/or quantitative analysis activities for assigned area.
  • Ensure the quality of day-to-day services provided is in line with service level agreements in place for each client.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Provides insights and ideas for improving processes and works to implements improvements.
  • Ensures staff have all required resources to execute their assigned activities.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 1 year in management preferred.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Solvas, Wall Street Analytics or ASAP is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
  • Experience in managing teams with 7+ people is strongly preferred.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $116,000 and $216,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
