We are looking for a group manager to join the International CMP (Customer Marketing & Product) team to lead strategic consultation and support for our international business units (China, Japan, Asia Pacific, EMEA, Latin America & Caribbean) in the functional areas of Product, Equipment & Sustainability Manager. Influencing, engaging, and driving effective collaboration across functions, geographies and levels of leadership is key to success in this role. As a group manager, you will…
• Identify key product priorities and opportunities to drive global connection and collaboration across our international business units (China, Japan, AP, EMEA & LAC)- such as Reusables, Health & Wellness and Coffee & Beverage innovation.
• Evolve support to address newly emerging and evolving needs such as Sustainability, Equipment and store productivity solutions.
• Develop standards and best practices for the development, launch, and optimization of Starbucks products and associated programs; balancing known global learning with flexibility to address local market relevance.
• Effectively establish, strengthen and leverage foundational tools and communication frameworks (such as global landscape dashboards, reporting, tracking, knowledge sharing forums, communication channels and repositories) to ensure support efforts are well informed, socialized and utilized by all stakeholders.
• Continuously identify new opportunities to deliver value for International business units- driving alignment, advocacy and buy-in needed with leaders and teams across orgs to implement.
• Provide consultation to international business units in the form of guidance, support, feedback and advocacy when needed.
• Drive regional input and alignment on key programs.
• Lead and manage a team of 2-3
We’d love to hear from people with:
• 8+ years progressive experience in brand and/or product management including, direct experience commercializing and bringing new products to market
• 4+ years experience managing other
• Previous international marketing, product management or business experience preferred
• Previous client service, agency or consulting experience preferred
• Facilitation skills and training experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of US military experience or highly transferable skills accepted
