Responsibilities:
8 To 10 Years of experience in L2 Prod/Non- prod Application and Platform support Strong Knowledge in Big Data Management Coordinate with development and infrastructure groups to prepare and implement planned maintenance outages. Communicate effectively with management and provide timely communication on issues business impact mitigation and resolution plans statuses and escalation procedure Should be able to cross-skill in NiFi/Qlik Replicate/dbt/AWS/Snowflake technologies

L2 Prod/Non- prod support that includes cluster monitoring Incident management RCA Support and maintenance of Hadoop Storage (HDFS) Knowledge on CDP and Hadoop Eco-Systems/Impala Knowledge on Scripting Skills on Linux environment Manage Hadoop Log files and analyzing failed jobs Query Optimization and suggesting Performance tuning recommendations Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Screen Hadoop cluster job performances Batch Monitoring and Adhoc query execution Effective Coordination with application teams for Hadoop updates patches version upgrades when required Deep Dive investigations of production issues for root cause analysis Address issues which are alerted by Monitoring tools and develop tighter monitoring of the platform Support Application Deployment/Releases Support Infra Patching activities Address & implement monitoring gaps and issues Using Systems and Networking knowledge to isolate and fix application problems Continuous Performance Management Reduce operational cost by streamlining existing processes by eliminating waste e.g. automation Experience Qlik data integration replication ingestion and streaming across a variety of sources Should do Environment Monitoring & Load Monitoring Good understanding or knowledge in data warehouses and Big Data platforms Exposure with Qlik CDC engine.Hands on experience with Qlik Replicate Console Knowledge on Qlik Administration tasks including Managing end Points and Tasks Hands on in Managing Endpoints and source settings experience in Qlik Replication Job Scheduler OR Understanding of DBT Architecture Provide strategic recommendations for Data integration tools and DBT roadmap including tool specific features and options expected to explore all aspects Coordinate with DBT support for patches and bug fixes. Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment. This includes throughput analysis capacity planning on-going optimization and tuning of DBT objects and env
The annual salary for this position is between $ 111,620 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
