Head of NAS Outbound (E-mail, SMS, Push)

The newly developed NAS Marketing team helps customers discover and engage with new, popular and relevant products across categories. We do this by combining technology, science, innovation, marketing and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences alongside cutting edge tools for marketers. We are looking for creative, customer-obsessed, curious and highly entrepreneurial marketers to join our new and exciting team.

NAS Marketing is seeking a Head of Outbound (E-mail, SMS, Push) responsible for driving a best-in-class customer experience, helping to drive sales and innovation across e-mail and SMS/Push campaigns across North America Stores (NAS). You will be responsible for developing manual and automated campaigns in support of cross-category campaigns and seasonal events. As a leader in the team, you will be expected to influence across the organization, partnering with our Tech and Central Automated teams to influence the testing roadmap across audience, creative and personalized content. This is an individual contributor role with four indirect reports and the possibility to grow into a manager role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing with executing highly visible online customer experiences
  • Competency with HTML and/or XML, plus the ability to learn our in-house analysis tools quickly
  • 6+ years’ experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional email marketing campaigns (including automated flows) from concept to completion; including testing, sending, and reporting for an established brand
  • 6+ years’ experience using analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and make adjustments accordingly
  • 6+ years of basic HTML and/or XML, plus the ability to learn our in-house analysis tools quickly
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated experience using analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and make adjustments accordingly
  • Experience participating in cross-functional projects
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
  • Strong drive for results with the ability to manage independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong execution capability with highest standards in a rapidly evolving business

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in DTC and e-commerce products/services or Consumables Packaged Goods

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
