About the Role:
The Head of Program Management will be the global leader of the Dow Jones Program Management practice, across the entire B2B and B2C portfolio of products. The Head of Program Management will have responsibility for establishing and running a portfolio management process for the B2B and B2C product portfolio at Dow Jones. You will build the PMO competency and create repeatable program management processes that are measurable and data-driven. you will report to the SVP of Experience Operations.
The functions and services of the Head of the Program Management Office include:
- Strategic alignment of project activities: to ensure that the company focuses on the activities involved in the strategy and the achievement of program objectives through support for decision-making.
- Program and project management support: Support the company in delivering outputs and outcomes defined in the program through effective implementation of planned projects and activities.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor program health and team’s performance
You Will:
- Ensure Dow Jones project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, executive status reporting, and overall solution delivery adheres to industry best practices and firm guidelines
- Provide the company with monitoring tools and reports, and publish regular program reports to review project status, evaluating performance criteria (scope of project, cost, timing and quality).
- Develop proactive relationships with senior leaders across business units that are built on trust, transparent communication, and a spirit of collaboration
- Ensure compliance with partner-defined standards for program / project management.
- Provide training to team leads and stakeholders on good practices in program and project management
- Supervise and support capacity building activities in order to build staff capacity in the long term and in a sustainable manner.
- Forecast resource requirements and operational needs based on business units’ pipeline of planned projects
- Oversee and mentor the professional development of PMO members
You Have:
- 15+ years of related experience leading program management across large-scale enterprise initiatives.
- Expert in agile development practices and knowledge of Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, and other project management tools
- Knowledge and experience with establishing metrics and KPI’s and executing IT programs and projects towards data-driven business outcomes.
- Experience with capacity planning and management and with establishing a framework and process for this.
- Experience in working with senior leadership in a large company environment.
- Experience in financial budgeting, forecasting and planning.
- Keen understanding and skill in building strong relationships with business and technology leaders.

Pay Range: $140,000 – $450,000
