As the Head of Sales, Service, and eCommerce systems at Lucid, you will be responsible for product management and engineering teams providing technology vision and leadership for the development and implementation of Lucid’s Sales, Service, Retail and Commerce initiatives.
This role collaborates with the business leadership teams as a strategic partner to provide in-depth technical expertise in support of business decisions. This position is responsible for driving implementation of technology solutions that support Lucid’s strategic goal and objectives.
This role requires strong executive leadership, product management skills, and the ability to influence at the executive level. The Director will be responsible for aligning business leaders with technology strategies and driving the delivery of initiatives and solutions impacting their stakeholders. In addition, the Director will collaborate with cross functional teams across all IT departments. The Director will also work closely with business unit leaders to set priorities, manage relationships with vendors and service providers, and drive operational excellence while leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success/value of the IT Applications team.
You Will:
- Partner closely with business unit leaders to set priorities, manage expectations, and ensure successful scope and delivery of projects.
- Provide technology vision and leadership for Product Management, Engineering and implementation of Lucid’s Commerce applications initiatives.
- Lead strategic technology planning for Commerce applications to achieve business goals, prioritize technology initiatives, and coordinate the evaluation, development, deployment, and management of current and future application technologies with all stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic organization and be able to move quickly from assessment to delivery will be mandatory to succeed in this role
- As a subject matter expert on eCommerce and technology trends, you will ensure a competitive edge by delivering innovative and compelling experiences
- Lead efforts to reengineer and optimize business processes and systems by assessing business needs, developing and proposing technology solution options, and analyzing technical options to best fit business applications.
- Oversee team leads to develop requirement work plans, identify task dependencies, develop estimates, determine resource skill requirements, provide risk management, and change management support.
- Oversee the coordination and implementation of numerous concurrent and highly visible projects supporting the business units, managing cross-project dependencies and accurately reporting status to stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Applications team to consistently deliver technology solutions that support Lucid’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Manage the use of external resources as needed for project implementations and application maintenance/upgrades.
- Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
- Contribute significantly to the development and maintenance of Lucid’s enterprise application architecture.
- Drive executive-level communication and support for IT Applications strategy.
- Drive operational excellence while leveraging KPIs to measure the success/value of the IT Applications team.
You Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related area is required. A Master’s degree in related area is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Tier 1 Applications Commence environment, providing system vision and strategy within a complex, matrixed, and enterprise-sized business environment.
- Extensive Product Management experience including leadership and knowledge in the areas of Product Strategy, Product Development, Product Launch, Cross Functional Collaboration, a Customer-Centric Approach, and Data-driven Decision Making.
- Solid knowledge about E-Commerce, CRM, ERP and tools as well as agile/scrum methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience within a Salesforce environment preferably in a leadership role.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role across Sales and Commerce product and engineering teams.
- Ability to influence decision-makers at senior levels to transform, modernize, and streamline legacy business processes.
- Prior experience working in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Experience integrating SaaS solutions and custom enterprise applications on-premise and in the cloud.
- Proven leadership skills for management and development of staff.
- Knowledgeable in compliance and information security.
- Current on business applications, trends in IT, and experience evaluating/implementing new innovative IT solutions.
- Self-starter who maps own direction to succeed, able to resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet financial and management goals consistently and collaboratively.
- Excellent team management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
$192,000 – $275,000 a year
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
