Head of Subscriptions, Ring

Ring is looking for an experienced product leader to lead the overall strategy, development and execution of Ring’s subscriptions business, delivering new services and solutions to meet our customers security needs. We’re looking for a proven leader with strong product, analytical, and business experience to lead one of the fastest growing product and technical teams at Ring.

The Head of Subscriptions delivers cross-functional programs that lead the growth of the business across multiple sales channels and geographies. This is a high visibility role that owns the communication, coordination, and execution of full-lifecycle programs. From determining positioning, competitive analysis, path to purchase, pricing, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow its consumer base. This means collaborating and influencing throughout a global and matrixed organization across Product, Engineering, Program Management, Design, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, and PR

Key job responsibilities
• Lead direct and matrixed teams to drive Ring’s product portfolio strategies, programs and mechanisms to accelerate Ring’s subscription growth.
• Analyze our customers, the market and our competitors to identify opportunities for increasing subscriber growth through new products, features and value-added services.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Design, Hardware Product, and Ring App Teams to define the product roadmap, feature/functionality development, use cases, and market opportunities.
• Define and drive the execution of roadmaps, plan for dependencies, budget for and secure resources to ensure the meeting of agreed upon deliverables and timelines.
• Scope, plan, develop and deliver end-to-end projects that span multiple digital customer touchpoints, voice, user interfaces, and emerging channels.
• Balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints, and make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize driving the biggest positive impact for the customer and the business.
• Assess the current and future marketplace to develop insights that identify areas of future growth while solidifying existing business.
• Deliver breakthrough products and services that exceed customer expectations and surpass all competitor offerings, that meet or exceed the unit volume and financial economic goals for the product line

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 6+ years of team management experience

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
