The Community Development Department is seeking positive team players to work in the Division of Parks Culture and Recreation. We have immediate openings for Head Recreation Attendants to be the visible point person for the community at the pool, parks, and facilities throughout the City, and provide guidance and direction to subordinate staff. We are looking for responsible individuals, who have excellent communication skills and the ability work independently.
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include performing task in admissions and concession stand operations, provide general supervision of City facility rentals and participants, manage customer concerns, assist with light facility maintenance task such as set-up and take down of events, and provide guidance to subordinate staff. This position will work closely with staff, volunteers, and contracted employees to implement activities.
Minimum Required Qualifications
A combination of education, training, and experience that provides a minimum of two years required knowledge, skills, and abilities in food service and customer service environments.
Must be at least 16 years old by the start of the season.
Must possess and maintain ServSafe or equivalent designated food safety certification.
Special Requirements
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a group; must exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and have a flexible schedule.
