- POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Medical Record Assistant must have overall good organizational skills and the strong ability to multi-task for both the Director and Supervisor within the Medical Records Department. The Medical Record Assistant will be responsible to organize schedules, calendars, and perform general office functions. In addition, the Assistant will provide administrative support including the development of presentation material for HIPAA and the Corporate Compliance Program. Performs internal work production activities reflective of the department iniatives utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced information systems. In addition, the Assistant will have daily responsibilities that include the management of release of information, birth certificate processing support to the family birth center, and the coordination of the Long Term Care record processing activities.

- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
