The Role: Quantitative Product Manager
The Team: The Research Signals and Alpha Factor Library products provide independent research, quantitative research datasets, and investment consulting services to the institutional asset management community. The group researches and develops individual factors and multi-factor models across a range of asset classes by applying a systematic evaluation process to a variety of fundamental, technical, and industry-specific data sources.
The Impact: The Quantitative Product Manager is responsible for enhancing and maintaining our quantitative investment management products, including alpha factors, alpha models, and risk models. Join a team of product managers who share a common passion for quantitative investment management and innovation. You will collaborate with a cross-functional product team to develop and maintain product roadmaps & ensure that we are developing effective solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive customer experience by serving as a subject matter expert, providing product demos, and answering technical questions
- Perform research and modelling, as part of various proof-of-concept activities, including building prototypes and assessing the appropriateness of specific product capabilities
- Partner with stakeholders in technology, operations, sales support and the broader product management team to build and maintain technology and processes to deliver robust production systems and data integrity for our quantitative products which include alpha factors, alpha models and risk models.
- Participate in projects and monitor product development plan, keeping the team informed about deadlines/obstacles/changes in the project plan
- Develop new ideas and product enhancements based on customer feedback and market research
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA, Masters in Finance, CFA or advanced industry certification a plus.
- 5+ years relevant industry experience, preferably in a quantitative role or product management role
- MBA, CFA, Masters in Finance or advanced industry certification a plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed, attention to detail,and a positive outlook.
- Experience with quantitative research products and datasets, software tools, and backtesting platforms
- Experience with programming and statistical software tools (Python, Matlab, R) and/or database tools (SQL, Snowflake)
- Demonstrated capability in product management, creating product requirements and coordinating with development teams on implementation
- Ability to interact confidently with prospects and clients as well as cross-functional teams within the organization, i.e. Product Management, Development, Marketing.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $79,600 to $134,563. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
