Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Health and Wellness Coordinator to join our team and help lead an internal comprehensive wellness program. The position reports to the Director of Recruiting and Talent Management. You will be responsible for creating and implementing health and wellness programs and initiatives to promote a healthy and productive work environment. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to creating positive outcomes for employees organization-wide.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Recruiting and Talent Management to explore, create, and promote opportunities encouraging overall wellness of all employees.
- Develop and implement company-wide wellness opportunities including a health & wellness events/offerings calendar, employee wellness-related resources, events and opportunities to actively engage in positive health practices, and opportunities for employees to increase use of the on-site fitness space.
- Plan and coordinate activities such as health screenings, health fairs, and nutrition and exercise programs.
- Educate employees on the importance of health and wellness and motivate them to make healthy changes.
- Monitor and evaluate wellness program effectiveness and propose necessary changes.
- Develop and deliver presentations on health and wellness topics.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of health and wellness
- Leverage Nelson-Jameson internal communication channels to promote wellness offerings.

Required Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Health & Wellness Promotion, or related fields.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Health & Wellness Promotion, or related fields.
- Education, training, or work related experience in health education, health promotion, or prevention of health conditions in current health topic areas.

Work Week:
Hours: 40 Days: Monday – Friday, 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.
Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000
