Healthcare Network Project Manager (Hybrid, North Carolina Based)

The Provider Network Development department is responsible for continuous review and evaluation of the provider network for quality of services, adherence to contract requirements, standards of care and performance, while assuring a full array of providers are available to meet the needs of the service recipients. The unit is also responsible for evaluating the quality of service provided to the MCO, review of adherence to accreditation standards and best business practices. This position works with cross functional teams, providers and stakeholders to ensure services are in place to meet member needs.

The selected candidate must reside in North Carolina and will be required to come into the Alliance office location closest to their residence, 2 days a week. Must be available for additional community travel based on assigned project sites as needed within the Alliance catchment areas served.

Responsibilities and Duties

Plan and Monitor projects

  • Conceptualize and design service projects
  • Contact and work collaboratively with content experts, staff, providers, and other stakeholders identified as potential contributors to the project
  • Document project plans to reflect assigned projects, milestones, deliverables and deadlines
  • Monitor project deadlines, track work assignments, and provide updates on project status
  • Monitor cross functional team implementation of the plan and assist with solving problems
  • Facilitate meetings of cross functional teams

Maintain Documentation

  • Assign tasks, gain approvals and document progress using the services process
  • Facilitate development of Scopes of Work as assigned

Progress Reporting

  • Report regularly on project progress, barriers and plans
  • Prepare written project summaries

Manage Request for Proposals (RFP) process

Minimum Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Business Administration from an accredited college/university and two (2) years of experience with project management or healthcare program management experience.
  • Certification as a project manager is required within eighteen (18) months of employment.

Preferred

  • PMP Certification and four (4) years of experience in management of behavioral health services or physical healthcare in NC, or a combination of both.
  • Knowledge of NC Medicaid is also preferred

Salary Range

$61,945.18 to $106,637.02/Annually

Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
