Role

The Program Delivery Lead will be responsible for the continuous enterprise delivery improvement efforts and will also set-up governance and metrics related to constituent continued improvement. Works closely with Delivery Leadership, Client, and service line delivery teams with initial focus on Operation Support: Claims, Provider Data Management and Call Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owns delivery management and delivery excellence
  • Lead delivery governance & work closely with delivery teams withing Provider Maintenance and Call Center
  • Drive delivery transformation, technology infusion, customer communication and benefit articulation
  • Liaise and manage collaboration between service lines to bring in synergies and ensure successful delivery
  • Responsible to set-up delivery and governance rigor and reviews operational metrics, assess risk and drive mitigation plans, review SoW / work orders
  • Manage Complex delivery, Stakeholder Management, Conflict Resolution, People Management etc.
  • Track and support the activities of project teams to ensure quality and timeliness of multiple complex programs
  • Responsible for identifying and supporting initiatives to improve SLAs, metrics and other critical hygiene factors that impact the Account
  • Reporting to our internal senior management or Leadership teams on the overall engagement (across different dimensions like delivery, bid management, staffing, financials etc.)
  • Establish and manage a working relationship with delivery excellence organization

Required Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience

  • Must have proven experience in successfully executing large size delivery
  • Experience in driving end-to-end delivery across shores
  • Experience in managing portfolio of engagements across different technology platforms
  • Good understanding of E2E operations and impact of Provider Data Management and Call Center handling
  • Good understanding of Agile delivery methodology and DevOps / Automation concepts
  • Excellent client management, relationship building and escalation management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and resolve conflicts in a diverse matrix organization within Cognizant and with clients
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills, strong people management
  • Ability to work independently to manage the whole program and respective stakeholders and projects
  • Proven record of achieving organization optimization.
  • Experience with continuous improvement process and methodologies
  • Influential leadership capabilities who can have impactful conversations with Executive leadership / Senior leadership stakeholders both on client side and internally within the Cognizant side.
  • Proven record on achieving highest levels of Delivery Excellence with ability to effectively govern and manage scope

Preferred Capabilities/Skills/Years of Experience

  • 15+ years’ experience in managing large programs
  • Excellent understanding of Digital technologies
  • Experience in healthcare business and technology preferred.
  • Experience developing dashboards to track/monitor overall program status and health, including tracking to Revenue and Margin.

Location

Remote with some occasional travel required.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000-$150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
