Heavy Equipment Field Technician

A Day in the Life:

  • Troubleshoot electrical, software, and hardware faults within a machine system on job sites.
  • Order parts and complete service reports.
  • Install GPS components and wiring on a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by working with the sales and survey teams.
  • Use Trimble survey gear to precisely measure and calibrate machines.
  • Assist other technicians.
  • Operate heavy equipment to troubleshoot and calibrate.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or (GED) equivalent.
  • Two-year degree in diesel technologies or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Competent with computers, cell phones, and other types of technology.
  • Flexibility to work after-hours when needed to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must bring a positive, can-do attitude to work with a great team that wants you to succeed.
