Help Desk/Computer Support Tech

Job Description

Provide first-level support for the efficient resolution of technology problems and requests from end-users. Will perform a variety of technical installation diagnosis, and basic repair duties to the operation and support of computers, multimedia, and related technologies.

This position works Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or Monday-Thursday 11:30 AM – 8 PM, and Friday, 9:30 am-6 pm. Summer evening hours may differ.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience/knowledge in Windows10/11, networking, TCP/IP, and wiring.
  • Basic understanding of Mac OS and iOS.
  • One year of experience installing and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and related peripheral equipment.
  • Ability to pass a background check, have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical college 2-year degree in a related field.
  • Help Desk/Phone support experience.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Audio Visual knowledge and installation and practical application.

Physical Demands

Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping, or stretching. May require lifting computer equipment up to 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, telephones, and copiers.

Salary
$13-$14 per hour
