Help Desk Support Specialist II (On Site, Aliso Viejo)

COMPENSATION: $23-$27 per hour

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Help Desk Support Specialists are the go-to people for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. They are responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner. You will join a talented team of Help desk support representatives with strong technical and troubleshooting skills that can deliver quick turn arounds.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participating in after hours on call rotation
  • Taking and completing tickets in a timely manner and answering support calls that come into the helpdesk in a professional manner.
  • Troubleshooting, updating, following up, and escalating tickets as needed through our support line.
  • Ensure all phone calls are logged into the ticketing system.
  • Image Laptops, Desktops, and Mac’s while maintaining proper inventory.
  • Work on different projects and tasks that are handed down from management.
  • Setup office and cubicle areas with the proper IT equipment.
  • Prepare and ship out new and replacement equipment for current and new employees.
  • Possess ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
  • Diligently perform continuous learning in all technologies to be kept up-to-date to ever changing advances across all IT field breadth

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • A+ Certification or educational equivalent
  • N+ Certification or educational equivalent.
  • Experience with Windows and MAC OS.
  • Experience in Office 365 applications.
  • At least 2+ years of IT experience or educational equivalent.
  • Must be able to work onsite and in a laboratory environment.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds or more.
  • Must be willing to work overtime.
