*Although there is a 3-day work-from-home component to this position, employee MUST reside in Pennsylvania and live no more than 50 miles from our local office in Palmerton. Must be able to come into the office when needed or requested by manager. Must also have a High Speed Data Connection with a Minimum of 100 Mbps and a quiet dedicated office space.
A support technician is needed in our I.T. Department to assist employees with software issues, troubleshoot desktop hardware and manage our printer environment. The Helpdesk Technician
provides computer and enterprise application support to all of our company employees. Ideal candidate will be motivated and knowledgeable in addition to having a friendly and professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Information Technology and / or related certifications and work experience
- A+ or Microsoft Certifications preferred
- Microsoft Product Experience including office products and operating systems
- Familiarity with troubleshooting computer and printer related issues
- Valid PA Driver’s License and good driving record
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of team
