Homeless Access Programs Supervisor

The Department of Housing Services is seeking a compassionate and dynamic Homeless Access Programs Supervisor to guide our Homeless Access Programs team in ensuring equitable, responsive, and effective access to critical services for people experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness in our community. This position will lead our team of dedicated program coordinators and community partners in ensuring effective street outreach and shelter programing, including our emergency and inclement weather responses. As a key leadership position within the Homeless Service Division of the Department of Housing Services, this role helps inform department policy and guide program implementation.

This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to work two to three days remotely each week.

  • oversee coordination of shelter and street outreach networks that serve homeless populations county wide.
  • maintain positive working relationships with provider partners, communicating program standards, guidelines, and expectations and providing support to ensure high quality services.
  • manage contracts for compliance and progress toward program and system level outcomes.
  • prepare, review and manage program budgets.
  • review program data for program management and reporting purposes.
  • prepare and present program materials to a range of community stakeholders including community partners, advisory bodies, and general public.
  • participate in need and system analysis and recommend actions,.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health, social service, business, or related field; AND three (3) years of work experience in program administration, development, evaluation, and/or contract administration. OR
  • Seven (7) years of work experience in program administration, development, evaluation, and/or contract administration.

Preferred Qualification:
Though not required to apply, preference will be given to candidates that have two or more years of work experience in housing or homeless services, supervision, program development, and/or contract management.
