Pay: $11 hr – $13 hr / Hourly versus Commission position with the potential to make between $50,000 to $100,000 per year. In the event, you do not receive a commission you will receive an hourly pay between $11 – $13 / hour

Job Description

Our mission in Hotels Corp is to create the start of a memorable vacation for our customers calling in through an inbound service. This position will be responsible for providing our customers with the widest selection of hotel accommodations, ticket services and destination services over the phone to help create an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for responding to incoming phone calls
  • Answer questions regarding resort amenities, ticket and park information, unit descriptions, location and travel directions, and reservation confirmations
  • Qualify customers and pre schedule guests for a tour presentation
  • Book reservations
  • Efficient with computer systems, knowledge of seasonal rates and awareness of black-out dates
  • Confirm/Cancel reservations
  • Cross-sell — Sales skill with the ability to determine needs
  • Problem resolution — Ability to solve problems without hesitation

Qualifications

  • Minimum six months experience in sales
  • Ability to make decisions quickly based on vacation needs of prospect
  • Efficient in basic computer program

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
