Job Responsibilities:
- The Housekeeping Assistant Project Manager / Supervisor will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure daily operational function within the department.
- This position will delegate and supervise the daily workload of the housekeeping staff, using Asana (project management tool) for task assignments and tracking.
- Assist in the hiring, training and continuous development of housekeeping staff.
- Assist with scheduling and labor management.
- Leads a culture of safety.
- Control supplies inventory & assist with ordering.
- Perform daily pre-shift meetings to ensure employees understand expectations for the day. • Ensures all work is completed on schedule with the desired level of quality.
- Inspects the work of Housekeepers & Inspectors to ensure they work according to set standards.
- Performs ongoing coaching/training to improve housekeeping productivity & quality.
- Cleans and inspects rooms as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The expected pay range is $23.00 – $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
