Position Overview:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Data Management Specialist to join our dynamic Space Launch Systems (SLS) team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute data management tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Support AS9100 Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits
  • Lead Reconciliation of document discrepancies by coordinating with affected organizations (e.g., engineering, quality, configuration management).
  • Perform Document Quality Assurance (DQA), Engineering and Document Release Support
  • Provide metrics development and reporting.
  • Communicating requirements to coworkers/customers regarding procedures, processes, and tools that support configuration audit and verification
  • Lead activities to identify and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Lead development of plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control
  • Lead the monitoring of adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Schedule, manage, and track program deliverables
  • Support Major Program Reviews

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with configuration management/data management
  • Experience with, and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Windchill
  • Experience with NASA Programs

Typical Education & Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years’ related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years’ related work experience, 8 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for experienced level: $79,050 – $106,95

Summary pay range for senior level: $101,150 – $136,850
