Position Overview

In this role, you’ll perform various tasks to assist with the production of asphalt and aggregates. You’ll be learning new skills, working on conveyors, and assisting with the production of aggregates. You’ll play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
- Ensure necessary supply of materials for asphalt plant & crusher are available.
- Load trucks with proper materials for delivery.
- Fuel, oil, grease and check other necessary loader parts to ensure proper function of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of Equipment and Site premises.
- Perform general maintenance and repair on equipment as assigned.
- Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and/or other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material or equipment.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience.
- Previous aggregate and/or experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of crushing and production equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of machines, tools, equipment, front end loader, and other related construction equipment highly preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.

- Demonstrates the willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.

- Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
