Job Type : Full Time, Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $25/hour

An Addison Group client is looking for an HR Administrator to support their team on a contract to hire basis!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings and ensure staff plan adherence
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Including but not limited to posting positions, phone screenings, scheduling interviews, extending offers
• Implements and conducts regular new hire orientation and onboarding
• Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Completes, verifies, and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and conducts new employee background checks.
• Ensure timely filing of sensitive documentation in personnel files
• Performs routine tasks required to assist administration and execution of human resource programs including but not limited to payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Handles general internal and external stakeholder questions or concerns to direct to appropriate department
• Assists with termination process of temporary and full-time employees
• Schedules meetings as requested by the Human Resources Manager
• Ensure photocopies, mail, scans, and email documents are sent to the correct personnel. Assists or prepare correspondence as requested, processes mail.
• Weekly reporting
• Perform all other administrative functions as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Computer Skills:
• In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; internet software; spreadsheet software and word processing software. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
