HR Administrator – Safety

Overview

This is an entry level position responsible for supporting the safety department with day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Record completed trainings in EHS (Velocity) and HRIS (Kronos).
  • Update training records matrix for all locations and distribute to department managers and supervisors on a monthly basis through auto-generated reports.
  • Upload monthly safety calendar to HRIS (Kronos).
  • Add safety inspection photos to safety template for quarterly safety reports.
  • Upload audiometric reports to employee file and distribute to employees.
  • Collect safety observation forms from each location and/or department and record safety observation card totals in HRIS (Kronos).
  • Audit training records for the annual safety incentive
  • Issue boot vouchers for the annual safety incentive
  • Run training and safety observation form reports for EHS Team
  • Coordinate Respiratory Protection Testing for Employees
  • Save all medical reports in EE files
  • Scanning, filing, and organizing of safety documents.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in an administrative role.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to learn HRIS including learning management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to meet established deadlines.

Physical Requirments

  • Frequently require to: sit for prolonged periods of time, reach for/manipulate standard office equipment, communicate with various staff and/or reach for and manipulate objects.
  • Occasionally moves items weighing up to 10 pounds.

Environment

  • Occasionally exposed to outdoor/uncontrolled weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to major amounts of dust.

The pay range for this position is $21./hr to $23/hr. The Company offers paid vacation time, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.
