HR Assistant/Representative – Temporary Position

The Company

MS Ambrogio North America (formerly GE) has an exciting opportunity to support our plant in Auburn, Maine. MSA is a longtime supplier and a world leader in producing components with advanced stamping and welding technologies. The Auburn facility is important for MSA to grow its components business in North America.

*Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position.

Role Summary/Purpose

The employee in this role will be required to perform each of the tasks below in a safe and timely manner. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Pay Rate: $20/hr

If you have Human Resources experience and would like to work 40 hours a week through the end of 2023, we would love to meet with you.

Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday

The HR Assistant/Representative should have the following experience or ability to do the following tasks:

  • Work with Paychex Flex HRIS Software (will train with basic HRIS experience)
  • Review Temporary Job Openings and Candidate Resumes
  • Review Direct Hire Resumes, Schedule and Prepare for Interviews, Hiring and Onboarding
  • Interact with Current Employees, Leads and Management
  • Purchase Office Supplies
  • Employee Event Coordination
  • Order Meals When Officials Visit the Auburn Facility, Coordinate Employee Lunches
  • Assist HR Manager and Team with Administrative Tasks – Scan, Upload and File
  • Assist in Administering Yearly Benefits in October
  • Print Badges for New Employees and Temporary Workers (will train)
  • Strong Organization Skills and Attention to Detail
