The HR Compliance Analyst at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center plays a vital role in ensuring adherence to all relevant HR policies, laws, and regulations. This position is responsible for conducting audits, monitoring compliance activities, and providing guidance to ensure the organization’s HR practices align with requirements and best practices. The HR Compliance Analyst collaborates with HR stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary. In addition, this role will also be responsible for HR reporting and analytics support for regulatory reporting and metrics

Responsibilities

  • Supports the continuous improvement, development, and enhancement of compliance program initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis of processes and procedures to ensure compliance. Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, onboarding, credentialing, background checking, and recruiting.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members regarding compliance matters.
  • Performs and responds to internal/external audit and document requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders and department leaders while providing timely resolution and/or communication of any issues.
  • Completes annual regulatory/compliance reports in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about current HR compliance trends and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a regulated, compliance driven environment
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Ability reporting, analyzing, and presenting data
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience managing projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Knowledge of federal and state statutes, laws, and regulations
  • Understanding of the essential elements of an effective HR compliance program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant Joint Commission and DOH regulatory compliance measures
  • Experience in healthcare or a research organization

This position is patient facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutch clinical facilities. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, without exception. Booster doses are strongly recommended but not required. If declining a booster, completion of the COVID-19 Vaccination Status Form Questionnaire and COVID-19 Booster Declination Training is required. The annual base salary range for this position is from $81,979 to $122,969 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
