Role: HR Generalist/Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Assists in the recruitment process to hire qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Assists in performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
- Performs employe service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Completes Forms 1-9, verifies 1-9 documentation and maintains 1-9 files
- Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process, processing of terminations and the preparation of the performance review process.
- Reviews and verifies invoice details and inputs data to Accounts Payable.
- In charge of data entry and processing of employee timecards as well as payroll payment preparation
- Respects confidentiality of information and maintains filing systems as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years HR experience preferred
• Must be qualified in AP invoicing – manage all AP invoices & must possibly manage vendor relations over time
• Must be organized and have high attention to detail
Systems: Advanced Accounting, payroll moving to either Paycom or Paychex
