HR Coordinator – Operations Support
We’re seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team located in Vancouver and Camas, Washington. The HR Coordinator will support our Operations organization through recruitment, assisting with onboarding, processing employee changes, tracking metrics, and other HR support activities. This is a great entry level position with opportunities for career growth. We’re seeking a motivated individual with high personal and professional values who is looking for a variety in job duties.
This position works Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM, with three days onsite in Vancouver and two days onsite in Camas.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the hiring process for manufacturing, facilities, and logistics employees, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, coordinating the selection process, preparing offer letters, and conducting pre-employment checks.
- Supports affirmative action and diversity initiatives, such as contacting diversity resources and participating in career fairs.
- Reviews employee change forms, including pay increases, title changes, department changes, etc., and submits them for approval and processing.
- Administers hourly employee progression tracking.
- Helps employees and managers by answering frequently asked questions relative to standard policies, hiring process, benefits, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR staff or management.
- Maintains the accuracy and security of all HR-related files. Ensures proper record keeping.
- Supports and assists in coordinating employee engagement and recognition activities.
- Prepares and distributes HR reports and metrics tracked for operations management, as needed.
- Assists Reception and other areas for key processes or vacation coverage.
- Performs other administrative and HR duties as assigned.
Requirements Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business, or other closely related field and/or HR certification is highly preferred.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong MS Office and Excel skills are required.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS.
- Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to use sound judgement, discretion, and appropriate escalation when appropriate.
- Ability to protect confidential and proprietary information, setting professional boundaries as needed.

- Pay depends on qualifications: $20 to $25 per hour
- Target Cash Bonus with potential payout of up to 2% of your wages
- 80 hours of paid Vacation per year, plus paid Sick Leave and 9 paid Holidays
- Vacation increases 8 hours annually, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year
