Responsibilities
The Director manages the overall HR relationship and oversees HR services for their client. The Director sits on the leadership/executive team tables of their clients and is accountable for a client HR impact report. Positioned to drive simplification and ease for client as a consumer of HR services. Responsible for bringing the best of HR to his or her assigned Consultant leaders and administrative executives (Mayo Clinic Administrative Team.) Responsible for translating the institutional vision and strategic plan into meaningful and effective operational tactics, bringing relevant, contemporary HR perspective to daily people related decisions. Partner to client on the overall delivery of thought leadership and administration of allied health, Voting and Consultant staff related HR activities. Actively participates in accelerating Mayo’s people strategy of life-long careers for talented people who share our values. Partners with assigned client on strategic priorities including but not limited to people needs, workforce planning, talent and succession management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and change management. Responsible to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients and HR colleagues. Advises and coaches client on driving decisions aligned with Mayo Clinic values and culture. Accountable to liaise with cross-functional HR partners and consult on emerging client needs and trends. Recognizes opportunities to transform work and improve service and quality, and acts as a catalyst for realizing improvements. Influencer, who promotes HR solutions, acts as a facilitator and generator of new ideas, and as a mediator on difficult issues. May serve institutional governance and leadership needs through active participation on institutional committees, community boards, leadership meetings, task forces, etc. Director provides expert analysis and counsel, and acts as a broker for all HR services. Responsible for execution of day-to-day HR operations. Ensures that activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.

This position is Limited Tenure, with an anticipated end date of 2 years. This position is 100% remote; can work from anywhere in the U.S.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant professional experience required. Career experience must include demonstrated human resources knowledge, leadership and management capabilities, and ability to work collaboratively with others as part of an integrated team. Excellent interpersonal relationships with HR colleagues, leaders, employees, and team members. Experience must include demonstrated agility in thinking and delivering/execution of work and strategic priorities.
Additional Qualifications:
Master’s degree and relevant certifications preferred. HR Consulting skill set is critical. Strong knowledge of internal and external trends and ability to design meaningful solutions, relationship building, team building, organization and critical thinking skills are preferred.
Experience in global mobility preferred.
