Summary
- Accountable for providing strategic HR leadership to a team of Human Resources Business Partners and tactical execution of HR initiatives across the organization, and consistent application of Oncor HR policies across the organization.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Directly or through others, the incumbent will:
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with function and senior level business management and gain an in-depth understanding of the organization’s business objectives, operations, and financial drivers and how they support Oncor’s overall business strategy.
- Provide strategic HR leadership in support of business objectives, operations and financial drivers.
- In concert with function and senior level business management, develop, implement and routinely refresh a long range, strategic workforce plan for assigned business organizations.
- Liaise with function and senior level business management and various HR organizations to develop and implement programs and processes that enhance the organization’s ability to achieve its goals and objectives, to include: Compensation, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Learning and Development.
- Recommend, develop, and update HR policies.
- Consult with function and senior level business management to help ensure consistent application of HR policies across the Company.
- Partner with the Employee Relations team, business management, and legal to determine and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Oversee HR’s work with Legal in the preparation and presentation of the Company’s case before various regulatory agencies and in court.
- Conduct all HR activities in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations and ordnances.
- Work in concert with executive and senior level business management in the administration and enforcement of the provisions of the Labor Agreement in business groups with organized employees.

- Direct and develop a team of HR Business Partners
Education, Experience, & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience
- Seven years of related professional HR experience.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of a broad range of HR functions.
- Demonstrated success in strategic plan development and implementation.
- Demonstrated success in gaining acceptance and support for, and driving the implementation of HR initiatives.
- Labor Relations experience.
