Under the direction of the HR Operations Manager, the HR Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day functionality of HR service delivery, ensuring effective and efficient employment-related practices, policies, and transactions, while upholding the organization’s mission and values. Provide excellent and consistent customer service when managing all interactions. Maintain a positive working relationship within the team and with external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the HR Operations Manager and other HR/TAA team members in the implementation of programs and initiatives to support, reinforce, and evolve Mindex’s culture and working environment
- Participate and/or assist with a wide variety of HR initiatives, including employee engagement survey, reporting, HR compliance, and other projects/duties as needed
- Assist employees with HR related questions including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, learning and development, etc.
- Generate data, reports, and statistics at the request of other HR team members
- Act in the capacity of system administrator of the HRIS system and other HR systems, ensuring timely and accurate transactions, data privacy and compliance
- Update payroll data in HRIS system (Bamboo HR and Paychex Flex), to include various items such as address changes, new hires, terminations, garnishments, pay-rate changes, direct deposits, etc. Update changes to federal, state, and local taxes based on residency and occupational locations.
- In a compliant and timely manner, processes employment sponsorship, immigration, non-immigration, other visa related paperwork accurately
- Partner with HR team, internal teams, and outside legal counsel to assist with any immigration concerns that may arise
- Facilitate all enrollment and administrative processes related to benefits including annual open enrollment, qualifying life events, changes, and processing
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure enrollment is accurate with benefit carriers; support research and resolution of discrepancies
Requirements
- One – three years of relevant experience in an HR Admin/Coordinator or Operations role
- Experience in HRIS and data management, benefits, compensation, HR policies and procedures, leaves of absence, compliance, etc. is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is $41,000 – $61,000 and represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
