Wage: $21.00 – 25.70/hr DOE w/ potential for overtime

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with general HR administration including but not limited to: verifications of employment, employee file maintenance, data entry, answering employee inquiries, assisting with various reporting & audits, unemployment verifications.
- As proficiency is gained, will provide full administration of DOT compliance including updating employee records, annual Clearinghouse queries, monthly expiration reports, and managing driver eligibility.
- Assists in managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to ensure accuracy of data.
- Assist with recruiting activities such as reviewing job descriptions, conducting intake calls with hiring managers, posting and marketing jobs, answering candidate inquiries, reviewing, and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, facilitating candidate communication, etc.
- Research, organize, and attend career fairs. Attend various local community events.
- Assist with delivering Human Resources training and/or leadership training on occasion.
- Responsible for completing Payroll SOX Compliance audit weekly to verify accuracy & authorization of all NW Region employee changes.
- Provides outstanding customer service and HR support to all employees to achieve compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
- Actively protects confidential information.
- Builds trust among employees, management, and colleagues.
- Travel to operations throughout the Northwest as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business or related; or equivalent combination of education and/or HR related experience.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to meet business needs.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Proficient with PC programs, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel throughout Eastern WA, Northern ID frequently; to Western MT a few times a year; and to Central WA, Western OR on occasion. Up to 25% travel may be required.
- Ability to work remotely with limited supervision and be effective in a virtual environment when required.
- Must pass pre-employment-controlled substance testing
- Demonstrates a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR/Recruiting experience a plus.
- A basic or general understanding of HR/recruiting concepts (extracurricular or professional) is a plus.
- HRIS, and/or ATS software experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, completed or in progress.

- Primarily in office setting.
- Full Time Schedule general work time is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Local travel within a 5-hour radius.
- Occasional overnight travel within the Pacific Northwest (OR, WA, ID, MT).
- The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
