The Collier Companies is seeking a Human Resource Generalist

Qualifications
Day to Day:
- Onboarding of new employees including, but not limited to pre-employment processing, submission of background/drug testing, and new hire orientations.
- Creation and breakdown of HR files; new hires/terminations.
- Manage company unemployment claims/appeals process.
- Maintains affirmative action programs; files EEO-1 annual reports, maintains other records, reports, and logs to ensure compliance.
- Handles employee relations and exit interviews. Assists with drafting of Team Member disciplinary documentation and may provide advice and coaching to managers.
- Assist with company benefits program and Worker’s Compensation compliance and claims.
- Maintain and update human resources spreadsheets and data as required for review and presentation to required departments.
- Provide support and help with the execution of company annual management conference including but not limited to planning and follow up.
- Entry/submission of company payables into Entrata in a timely manner.
- Provide phone relief for Receptionist when out of the office, on lunch, etc.
- Update Team Member Wall monthly.
- Maintain building alarm maintenance, cleaning services, and other vendor contacts.
- Experience with Paycom and Entrata a plus
- Provide exemplary customer service to residents, vendors, and employees.
- Responsibilities may change due to company needs, market changes, or seasonal demands of position.
Your Skills & Requirements:
- College level education or related experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resources related experience
- Commitment to a high degree of confidentiality
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, to include excel proficiency
- Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of human resources procedures and policies; able to use interpersonal skills and analytical tools to solve complex business problems
- Extremely organized, with an eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend English
- Use of latest technology in the office
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation
