About the Residential HVAC Installer
This HVAC Installer role is based out of our Harrisburg, PA location and is a part of our Residential Services Group. Our RSG HVAC Installer can expect to earn $45k to $60k annually. This is an ideal opportunity for a newer Installer who wants to learn more and grow, and who loves to provide outstanding customer service while focusing on doing quality work. Integrity and Customer Care are core values here at Haller! This is a Safety Sensitive position.
What You Will Do:
- Be an eager, diligent, hardworking, Installation Technician who helps install Residential HVAC systems with accuracy and efficiency, knowing the importance of doing a project correctly the first time.
- Work in a more intimate setting. We have a wide range of Residential customers which gives you the chance to show us what you know so far, and learn more about all sorts of equipment including Heat Pumps, Gas and Oil Furnaces, Ductless Split Systems, Boilers, Geo-Thermal Units, and everything in between.
- Work under minimum supervision but also be a part of a team and report to a Lead Installer, working together as a unit.
- Learn from our experienced Installers who will provide guidance and share the knowledge they’ve spent their career learning.
- Mindfulness and communication are key for the team to be successful. Take pride in completing all jobs and paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

What you bring to the table
- 2 + year(s) of Residential HVAC installation experience.
- Boiler installation experience is a plus!
- An associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school is beneficial but not required.
- A strong drive to do the job right the first time and pride in your work.
- Be a lifelong learner and realize you never stop learning and growing in the field to be good at the trade.
- Valid and current driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- CFC Certification – Type I and II, Universal is ideal!
- Proficiency with technology to work from an iPad and the ability to type a professional email to communicate with any member of our customer’s organization.
