What You Will Do at ODM:

Office: Operations

Bureau: Business Operational Support

Classification: Customer Service Assistant 2 ( 20099640, 20099646)

This position will be part of our Case Processing team. In this role, your duties will include:

  • Learn about Ohio Medicaid programs
  • Provide direct and indirect support to Ohioans interested in Medicaid benefits
  • Review documentation provided by customers
  • Verify and input customer information
  • Research and respond to written program and case-specific inquiries
  • Respond to emails, process applications, track and report statistical data
  • Work in a customer service unit setting receiving inbound calls and completing outbound calls

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong critical thinking skills and good attention to detail, be proficient with computers and able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be committed to learning about Ohio Medicaid programs to provide exceptional service to their fellow Ohioans.

Qualifications
9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in office practices & procedures; 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in public relations or customer service that included techniques for handling difficult people; 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in typing, keyboarding, data entry or word processing; 9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in operation of personal computer.
