Job Overview :

The External Review Liaison Administrator is responsible for ensuring that Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) provides timely and accurate responses to all inquiries from external auditing entities (e.g. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Internal Revenue Service, Office of Budget and Management, Auditor of State, Health and Human Services-Office of Inspector General). Your duties will include:

  • Supervising the Audit Coordination Team
  • Organizing and monitoring ODM audit responses from ODM offices/bureaus and timelines
  • Supervising the Medicaid Eligibility Quality Control (MEQC) unit supervisor
  • Coordinating agency remediation efforts and corrective action plans
  • Reviewing ODM documentation and policy information with partner state agencies, ODM Legal Counsel, ODM leadership, and others

Qualifications
Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 24 months of experience in planning & administering health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data analysis).

-Or 24 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1, 65295.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
