Critical Business Analysis has a current opening for a P6 Scheduler with a minimum of five years’ experience in P6 schedule development, maintenance, and analysis for large engineering/procurement/construction projects. This is a green industrial three-year project that emphasizes the Electrical and Process Piping disciplines. The work will be performed on site the first year and then for non-local Atlanta candidates switch to a hybrid model for years two and three. The opportunity offers a per diem package.
The position requires critical thinking to develop and analyze project schedules. The capability to critique schedule data and communicate to the project stakeholders the impact of that analysis is a must. The candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of project stakeholder groups. Candidates must have extensive experience using Primavera P6 and working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Previous Heavy Industrial, or Heavy Commercial construction experience strongly preferred
- Minimum five years’ experience using P6 to manage large capital projects
- Experience setting up and managing P6 resource loaded schedules
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills
- Effective working in a group Project Controls environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of project stakeholders and perform site walk downs
- BS degree in a related field preferred
