Commerce is comprised of seven operating divisions and two standalone programs that span a variety of industries including real estate, liquor, banking, securities, firefighting, construction and skilled trades, and medical marijuana. Through exceptional compliance practices and oversight, Commerce has a direct role in protecting Ohioans.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the posting, interviewing & selection processes for vacancies
- Coordinate recruitment and retention of top talent, including selection process, using Taleo and other innovative means to fill vacancies
- Conduct job analysis for PSMQ validation and content-valid assessment/selection Instruments
- Write, update and maintain agency position descriptions
- Acts as liaison between HCM Manager and all internal and external customers on HCM related matters
This positions offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule that combines working from home with regular in-office presence. In-person work requirements may change for training, meetings, and other operational needs.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration; 12 mos. exp. in human resources.
-Or 3 yrs. exp. in human resources.
-Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
