Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a project management professional to be part of ODM’s Project Delivery Team. The Project Delivery Team supports ODM’s ongoing implementation of the Ohio Medicaid Enterprise System (OMES) Program’s initiatives through management and collaboration. This position will manage the following project part of the modular OMES:
Advance Data Analytics Tool (ADAT) and Advance Data Analytics Module (ADAM)
As an IT Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- overseeing projects that covers all phases of project management, with activities and responsibilities within the PMO
- driving change across ODM and impacted external partners and members through organizational change management (OCM) principles
- leading cross department team of subject manager experts (SMEs), business process analysts (BPAs), and/or external vendors from initiation to completion
- developing scope, plan, and execution of projects (e.g., definition, verification, timeline, and development)
- serving as the agency liaison and working collaboratively with stakeholders (e.g., Medicaid departments, vendors, contractors, and health related organizations) to develop Medicaid projects

Qualifications
Successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
-Or 3 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
