NG is currently looking for Hydrovac Operators. This job requires typical construction hours, with some weeks being less than 40 hours and other weeks requiring 50 plus hours. We are a 24/7 operation.
Must be willing to travel for short periods of time
- Operate NG Company equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Must properly document all local, state, federal, company and customer documentation/paperwork required by law and/or established policies in a clear and legible manner, promptly
- Able to lead and direct a team to perform duties in a safe and timely manner
- Must be able to drive and operate all Hydrovac functions
- Have knowledge of and comply with DOT Regulations
- Have the ability to troubleshoot and, as needed, perform minor repairs to equipment
Requirements
- Must be able to work extended hours and variable shifts
- Be able to wear all required PPE
- Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights
- Confined Space Entry may be required to accomplish task for some clients
- Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and noisy environments
- Class B CDL required with Airbrake and Tanker Endorsement
- Must possess and exhibit a strong safety acumen
- Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or other related industrial experience preferred
- 12 months of Heavy Equipment Operation experience preferred
Must be willing to work flexible hours, to include occasional nights and weekends - Underground utility and/or construction experience preferred
Compensation:
Potential for $1,000.00 Sign on Bonus- depending on location
$25.00 – $35.00 Per Hour DOE
