Description
The Community Support Specialist III provides services to individuals with intellectual disabilities who are living in a licensed 24-hour residential program. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this individual is responsible for the planning and delivery of person-centered rehabilitation or habilitation services that facilitate a safe, secure and supportive living environment.
The Community Support Specialist III assists the Program Supervisor in the training and development of new staff and helps to ensure that daily program operations within the workgroup are consistent with TSI’s mission statement and service delivery model based on Everyday Lives (ID).
**Schedule: 2PM to 10PM, every other weekend off alternating with Fridays and Mondays off when working the weekend
$1,000.00 Sign-On Bonus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and six (6) months related experience
- OR an Associate’s degree in a health-related field and two and a half (2 ½) years of MH, MR, Residential, or Human Service experience
- OR a High School Diploma or GED and four and a half (4 ½) years of MH, MR, Residential or Human Services experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to use core rehabilitation skills and to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- The ability to perform basic computer data entry required
