Salary Range : $3,681- $6,034/Monthly

Work Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions : The Imaging and Data Processing Unit is an organizational unit with a mission to provide imaging and data processing services associated with supporting student success through the digital transformation initiatives aligned with the mission, vision, and values of California State University, Los Angeles. Under the direct supervision of the Lead Imaging and Data Processing (IDP), the incumbent provides support of a complex nature to carry out the functions of the Imaging and Data Processing (IDP) Unit in accordance with the university’s policies and procedures. The incumbent will contribute to a positive university experience for every student and assist in achieving the university’s commitment to a “vision of excellence.” Primary areas of responsibility include: oversight of imaging, indexing, and data capture (interfaces, file upload, and manual data input) to ensure that the document images and their relevant data are available for review within the agreed upon turnaround time. This includes monitoring productivity and work quality within work units. Other areas of responsibility include assisting with mail processing, data clean-up projects, data validation, and quality assurance, providing support for students, student referrals, and assisting with other duties as assigned. The incumbent will maintain a safe work environment and follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience : Four years of full-time general office experience, which includes providing ongoing work coordination and/or lead responsibilities with notable accountability for the work results of support staff/or unit administrative function. Experience working with confidential documents. Working knowledge of personal computers, software, and hardware, including scanners. Must possess: excellent organizational and customer service skills; effective communication skills; and proficient, quick, and accurate data entry skills and ability to process documents in large volume in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-orientated and demonstrate a strong desire and ability to take initiative and maintain ownership of everyday duties and projects. Demonstrated ability to: evaluate imaging process problems and make accurate recommendations on appropriate course of action leading to effective operation of imaging and data input processes; to troubleshoot and coordinate first-level support of imaging and data input operational issues. Demonstrated ability to organize and plan multiple priorities and to carry out assignments without detailed instructions and to maintain effective working relationships. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Desired Qualifications : Working knowledge of and experience: with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions; and with a computer imaging system such as OnBase, Singularity, etc. Working knowledge of data extraction processes. Knowledge of data validation and quality assurance processes.
