As a Systems Engineer with a focus in Electrical Integration for the FBM Team, you will serve as a key interface between the requirements, design, subsystem engineering, system engineering, and production teams.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO:
• Provide independent review and cross-program coordination to ensure electrical and data subsystem designs are compatible
• Support Missile activities at component manufacturers and the Strategic Weapons Facilities
• Facilitate anomaly investigations to closure
• Perform data reviews and provide feedback to and teams

YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of professional experience with a Master’s Degree.
• An exceptional work ethic and knowledge across a broad range of topics in the engineering field.
• Possess good process focus with the ability to intelligently apply standard processes to real-world applications.
• Thorough, with good attention to detail and a demonstrated understanding of documentation methods and requirements.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within Electrical, Aerospace, Systems or a related discipline; or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Systems Engineering experience or knowledge within one or more of the following functions:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) System integration, test and/or verification planning and execution
d.) Systems planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
e.) Design reviews
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Spacecraft/missile design, development, systems engineering, with broad based and in-depth knowledge of space, missile and launch integration at the component through level
• Experience with telemetry, flight operations, and/or electrical design
• Proven understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• design and integration experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware products throughout the full life cycle of the program
• Ability to interact with hardware Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) and designers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution necessary to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Ability to drive coordinated resolution to issues across multiple work locations and organizational structure
• Active Secret or higher clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 – $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
