General Statement of Duties
The Forsyth County Department of Social Services is seeking a highly motivated, dependable professional with advanced communication and exceptional customer service skills to provide information to the general public about NEMT (non-emergency Medicaid transportation).

They must have strong organizational skills, the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, the ability to work quickly within deadlines, have a basic knowledge of universal computer technology and general office equipment and be able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Minimum Education and Experience
Graduation from high school or GED and two years of call center or customer service experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for minimum qualification requirements.
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
An Income Maintenance Caseworker I for Non-emergency Medicaid Transportation is assigned to the Medicaid Division. Work is performed under general supervision following established procedures and guidelines and is evaluated by observation and program effectiveness. An Income Maintenance Caseworker 1 serves as a liaison between Forsyth County Department of Social services, private transportation providers, and medical providers to coordinate timely and accurate scheduling of medical related transportation trips for eligible Medicaid beneficiaries.
